Accessibility Statement for County Supplies Online


This website is run by County Supplies. We want as many people as possible to be able to use this website so we have tried as far as is reasonably possible to make our website accessible for everyone.  

You should be able to:

    • Some PDF documents may not meet accessibility standards and may not be structured so they ae accessible to a screen reader. Accessibility regulations do not require us to fix documents published before 23 September 2018 if they are not essential to providing our services. 
  • Some forms may be missing labels 
    • WCAG Conformance Level A. Forms do not have accessible names in form fields. County Supplies will work with the web developer to correct this. 
  • Some hidden elements may be accessible by accessibility tools 
    • WCAG Conformance Level A. Elements hidden from view can still be accessed by accessibility tools. County Supplies will work with the web developer to correct this. 
  • Some role tabs may be conflicted 
    • WCAG Conformance Level A. Some tab elements have been set-up with links to activate the show/hide function, this allows screen readers to try and read the links. County Supplies will work with the web developer to correct this. 

Content that’s not within the scope of the accessibility regulations 

  • Pre-recorded audio and video published before 23 September 2020 
  • Live audio and video 
  • Heritage collections like scanned manuscripts 
  • PDFs or other documents published before 23 September 2018 
  • Third party content that’s under someone else’s control, and not paid for by us - for example, social media ‘like’ buttons 

What we’re doing to improve accessibility 

County Supplies will continually work with our supplier 247 Commerce to develop and improve the website, to make it as accessible as possible to all within reason.
